Lost Child and Late Collection Policy
At Creative Kids Holiday Club, we prioritize your child's security through clear, professional safeguarding procedures for unexpected situations. If a child cannot be located, our staff will instantly alert the Manager or Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) to begin an immediate, thorough search of our premises and the surrounding area. To maintain safety, other children remain supervised in a secure zone. Should we be unable to find the child quickly, we will notify both the police and parents without delay, documenting every detail for your peace of mind. Regarding late pickups, please rest assured that your child will remain in a safe, caring environment under constant supervision. Our team will attempt to reach parents and emergency contacts using the details on file. If no contact is established after a significant period of time, our DSL will follow local authority guidelines by reaching out to children's social services or the police. We record all late collections to help us refine our care and ensure every family feels supported and protected throughout their time with us.
Prevent Strategy Guidance
At Creative Kids Holiday Club, we hold the protection and well-being of every child aged 5 to 11 as our top priority. In line with the Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015, we are dedicated to fostering a safe, supportive space that encourages positive values through gentle and age-appropriate care.
